NEUROBODYWORK
NeuroBodywork is 25 years of advanced manual therapy training combined with neurological assessments, evaluations and central nervous system resets. Using manual muscle testing, we can better understand the why! Why is a muscle presenting weak. Why is the body creating withdrawal patterns? Why is a muscle compensating? You could stretch, foam roll, lacrosse ball or receive the best massage ever but if the nervous system is telling a muscle to stay hypertonic (compensate), it’s going to lock back up immediately upon any perceived traumatic experience, simply out of protection. Until we unravel these neurologic dysfunctions, problems generally do persist.
Most muscular skeletal injuries are ruled by the nervous system, so it’s important to look at how the brain uses compensation pattern to correct the related dysfunctions rather than treating the symptoms. Often times the area of pain is not the area of dysfunction.
MODALITIES

PDTR
Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex Therapy (P-DTR) is a revolutionary neuromuscular treatment method that addresses a largely overlooked system of the body: the proprioceptive system. The proprioceptor system gives our brain information about what’s going on inside and outside of our body

Active Release Techniques®
Active Release Techniques® (ART®) is a hands-on touch therapy administered by trained professionals to assess and treat soft-tissue injuries. Soft tissue refers primarily to muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves.
